River Watch
Try hands-on learning that makes a difference. Join River
Watch, a Hennepin County outdoor stream monitoring program for high
school and student groups. The BCWMC supports Hennepin County
Environmental Services in operating the River Watch program, which
provides the following benefits:

Provides
hands-on environmental education opportunities for high school and
college students;

Gathers water quality data on
Hennepin county streams and creeks;

Promotes an understanding of
watersheds and how water quality is related to land use; and
-
Promotes river stewardship.

West Metro Watershed
Alliance (WMWA)
The West
Metro Watershed Alliance, a group of representatives of watershed
